How do painters and photographers use light? For this assignment, please select a single image from the choices below. Begin your blog post by clearly identifying the image that you selected (or link to the image). Describe the image, and take a moment to consider your personal reaction to it. How does it make you feel? What do you think about when you look at it? Next, and this is the central question for this assignment, write a brief (250 words) analysis of the use the light in the image. For example, what are the principle sources of light? Where is the key light coming from? Can you identify use of side light and back light? Conclude your essay with a summary of the role of light in the image that you selected.
